Security
The Mission of the Security Department is to provide service and protection to patients, visitors, employees, medical staff, tenants and all other persons while they are on the Trinity Medical Center campus.
This department is designed to enhance the security of the campus and all who occupy it. The Security Department provides protection 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.
Visitor Badge In an effort to make Trinity as secure as possible for our patients, visitors, and staff, a visitor badge process has been implemented for the evening hours to easily identify visitors within the hospital. Beginning at 9:00p.m., a security officer is stationed at the information desk and another in the Emergeny Department that issues all visitors a badge indicating the room number of the patient they are visiting. Visitors within the hospital are asked to wear this badge at all times. Visitors who are already in the building before 9:00p.m. and plan on staying through the evening hours are instructed to obtain a badge at the nearest nursing station. In addition, the front entrance to the hospital is locked at 11:00p.m. until 5:00a.m. After this time, all visitors are to enter the hospital through the Emergency Room entrance.
Visitor Shuttle Trinity provides patient and visitors transportation throughout the campus on a six passenger golf cart shuttle. Patients and visitors can obtain these services by notifying the greeters at the entrances or Security at 592-1331.
