Medical/Pulmonary Unit

Commonly referred to as 7 Main Medical-Pulmonary, this general nursing unit features 40 private rooms located on the 7th floor of the Main Tower of Trinity Medical Center.  Medical-Pulmonary specializes in the care and treatment of pulmonary (lung/breathing problems) as well other acute/chronic general medicine problems. The unit has five negative pressure rooms to accomodate those pulmonary patients requiring isolation and four rooms to accomodate stable ventilator-dependent patients.   Patient care is provided by highly trained and skilled professionals who are committed to "doing the right thing no matter what" for our patients, their families and visitors.   Visiting hours are flexible, so families can be with their loved ones at times that are convenient with their schedule.

Trinity Medical Center and Drs. William Scott Pennington and John G. Touliatos of Advanced Surgeons PC, have been named an American Society for Bariatric Surgery (ASBS) Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence.
