Sports Medicine

Trinity Medical Center’s Sports Medicine Program has been involved in Birmingham Athletic Programs for over a decade.  We have become a leader in sports medicine with our unique approach that specifically designates a Certified Athletic Trainer for each community or athletic program we have an agreement to help service.  This is what administrators, parents, coaches, and athletes have sought for years.  The objective at Trinity Sports Medicine is to support the athletic programs in the surrounding counties through prevention, education, treatment, and rehabilitation of sports related injuries. 

Services We Provide to Athletic Programs

• Full-time ATC Coverage –or- ATC Supplement
• FREE Pre-Participation Physical Exams (annually)
• Friday Night Football Injury ER Clinic @ Trinity Medical Center
• Development of High School Sports Medicine Program
• Summer Athletics Activities Coverage on School Campus
• Community Athletic League Services or Coverage
• Daily Communication (injury status, medical emergencies, MD visits)
• Middle School Athletic Events Coverage when possible
