FAQ’s
- What should I wear to therapy? Depending on the body part, you will want to wear loose fitting clothing especially in the area we will be treating. We have locker rooms in this facility if you would like to bring clothes to change into. Layering is also recommended, as the temperature in our building is frequently cool.
- How long will each session be? Your initial visit will probably be longer than the following visit. On your initial visit you will be evaluated by a licensed therapist in order to determine the best course of action for your problem. Be prepared to stay approximately one hour on your initial visit. Subsequent visits will be 30 to 45 minutes, depending on your treatment.
- What if I need to cancel my appointment? Please try to let us know within 24 hours prior to your visit if you are not going to make your appointment. We have limited appointment slots and other patients may need to come during the time you are allotted.
- What if I am going to be late for an appointment? Please call us if you are going to be late. Our appointment slots are set every 30 minutes. At times, being late for an appointment is not a problem, however if we are booked for the day, even being 5 minutes late can put the therapist and other patients behind.
- Will I have a copay? Each insurance policy is different. You will need to contact your insurance company prior to your therapy appointment to find out what your contract specific terms will be. When you come in to register, our registrar will discuss with you the options for paying your copay and verify your insurance coverage. However, it is your responsibility to understand your contract terms prior to coming to your therapy visit.
- Do I need to come early on my first visit? Yes! You will need to arrive for your initial visit 30 minutes prior to your appointment time with the therapist. This is for registration and insurance verification.
