Monitor Room

  The Central Monitor room is a command center for telemetry and has the capability of monitoring heart rhythms of patients on any nursing unit in the hospital 24 hours a day.  Specially trained monitor technicians staff the central monitor room keeping a constant check on a patient’s heart and watching for potentially dangerous heart rhythms.
