NLG Mission Statement
The mission of the Nursing Leadership Group (NLG) is to meet the unique healthcare needs of our local communities by creating an environment that:
- Recognizes the vital contributions of nursing to the healing process
- Enables nurses to actively and continually participate in the delivery of care
- Fosters physician participation and partnerships committed to providing excellence in nursing care
Trinity NLG Vision Statement
This group will serve as a collaborative advisory forum working in conjunction with the Physician Leadership Group (PLG) and Ancillary Support Leadership Group (ASLG) to improve performance/operational processes and resolve issues while ensuring that Trinity is the hospital of choice for patient care and the workplace of choice for clinical staff and employees.
The Trinity Nursing Leadership Group consists of a representative from each nursing department that was appointed by the department director. Each representative will serve one term which is a three-year committment. The group is led by an appointed president and vice-president from the representative committee.
