Support Group

Finally Free is the bariatric surgery support group at Trinity Medical Center.  It is open to all persons, whether you are gathering information about surgery or have already had surgery.  Most patients who attend have had either a Lap-Band®, Bypass or Sleeve gastrectomy.  There is always a health professional available to answer specific health questions, but the main purpose of the group is to support each other in this journey.

Our group functions as a true support group.  It is a time for individual sharing, questions and support for the members.  We offer a brief educational session with various topics and often a guest speaker.  We ask each first time visitor to sign a confidentiality statement. 

We welcome all interested persons.  You may be starting your journey towards bariatric surgery, or you may just be looking for an opportunity to speak with others who have already had surgery.  Friends and family are always welcome to attend with you. 

When:  2nd Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m.
