Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Trinity Imaging offers Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) exams in a pleasant, easily accessible setting. Registration and exams are done in one location with convenient free parking just steps from the entrance.
Trinity Imaging utilizes a GE TwinSpeed scanner with Quiet Technology and dual-gradient capabilities. This technology allows narrow-zoom mode as well as wider whole-body mode scanning within the same unit and reduces noise levels by 40% over other older technology. The TwinSpeed scanner is part of our commitment to give our patients the highest quality care at affordable cost.
To obtain an MRI image, the technologist uses a magnetic field and radio waves to visualize the parts of the body. The patient will lay quietly on a scanning table and will hear knocking or hammering noises. The patient is monitored during the entire process and can talk with the technologist between scans.
At times, your physician may order a contrast solution to be injected into a vein through a tiny needle to visualize the blood vessels. Your technologist will be glad to answer any questions you may have about this part of the procedure.
Trinity Imaging MRI is located in the Neuroscience Building, 790 Montclair Road, on the corner of the main hospital entrance from Montclair Road. We are open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am until 5:30 pm.
