Computed Tomography (CT)
Trinity’s 64-slice Volume Computed Tomography ( VCT) scanner is the world's first scanner that allows us to capture multiple images of a patient's anatomy, at the same time. This provides faster scan times and less time needed for breath holds.
Scanning can be done in a single breath-hold and the scanner's advanced diagnostic features have the potential to provide better, earlier diagnoses, reduce the number of invasive procedures, and improve patient care.Applications of the GE Lightspeed system include:
- 3-D reconstruction
- Volume renderings
- CT Angiography
Pulmonary embolism
- Multiplanar reconstruction for complex anatomy
- Screening Procedures
- Whole Body Scanning of the liver, kidneys, gall bladder, pancreas, colon, lymph nodes, prostate, uterus, and ovaries to detect: growths, polyps, benign and cancerous tumors, stones, cysts, aneurysms, and arteriosclerosis.
