Visiting Hours

At Trinity Medical Center, we think visitors can be good medicine for patients and family members and friends are welcome to visit.

However patient care is our primary concern and in order to enhance the quality of care, specific visiting hours and regulations have been established for each special unit.

If you need additional information, just check with a nurse on the unit.

General Visiting Hours	Open Visiting Hours - children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.  It is important for patients to rest and sleep.  Please take this into consideration when visiting.
Open Heart Intensive Care Unit	8:30 am, 12:30 pm, 4:30 pm, 8:30 pm (30 minute visits)
Surgical Intensive Care Unit	8:30 am, 12:30 pm, 4:30 pm, 8:30 pm (30 minute visits)
Critical Care Units	8:30 am, 12:30 pm, 4:30 pm, 8:30 pm (30 minute visits)
Medical Intensive Care Unit	8:00 am, 12:00 pm, 5:00 pm, 8:00 pm (60 minute visits)
Transitional Care Facility	Unlimited - Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Rest time and bedtime should be considered.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit	Open Visiting Hours - children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Neuro Intensive Care Unit	8:30 am, 12:30 pm, 4:30 pm, 8:30 pm (30 minute visits)
Labor Room	Two visitors per patient at one time as patient's condition allows.
Women's Unit	Open Visiting Hours - children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

• Trinity is a smoke free facility. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas outside of the hospital.
• Please help us limit visitation to two visitors at a time. We ask that visitors in semi-private rooms be considerate of both patients. Under special circumstances a family member may be asked to stay with the patient.
• To protect young children from adult infections and adult patients from childhood infections, we ask that children under the age of 14 not visit the patient rooms. The only exceptions are the Mother/Baby Unit and the Transitional Care Facility. Children should be under adult supervision at all times when visiting the Mother/Baby Unit or the Transitional Care Facility.
• To help minimize the spread of infections, we ask that visitors use public rest rooms rather than those in patient rooms.
• To help minimize the spread of infections, we ask that visitors wear shirts and shoes at all times.
• Please send ALL valuables home with a family member. The hospital is not and cannot be responsible for lost valuables such as money, jewelry, etc. unless they are placed in the hospital safe.
• ALL personal belongings such as dentures, eyeglasses, hearing aids, wigs, prostheses, etc. are the responsibility of the patient. You may want to send these items home.
• The hospital is not and cannot be responsible for losing any medications you may have brought from home. You may want to send these items home.
• No weapons, alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs are allowed on the Trinity campus.
• As a courtesy to other patients and visitors, please leave incense burners, candles, radios, stereos, cots and lounge chairs at home.
• We ask that visits be kept short and that visitors help us maintain a quiet environment.
• We ask that visitors not sit or lie on empty beds, patients beds or floors. In an attempt to discourage the spread of infections, we ask that visitors with colds, sore throats, or any contagious diseases not visit patients.
• Visitors may be asked to leave the room during tests or treatments or when the doctor or nurse needs to see the patient privately.
