Trinity Medical Center associates enjoy a benefits program designed to help balance family and job responsibilities and to promote professional growth.

Medical Insurance – Employees can select PPO coverage at two different coverage levels. Both levels include prescription drug coverage. Full-time employees can “opt out” of medical coverage and receive extra pay.

Dental Insurance – Employees can participate in the Dental PPO plan, which provides coverage for preventative dental care as well as dental repair, and partial coverage of orthodontia for covered dependents.

Vision Insurance – Associates who select vision coverage enjoy the benefit of annual eye exams and corrective lens replacements, as well as biannual replacement of eyeglass frames.

Paid Time Off (PTO) – Associates begin earning time on the first day of employment. This time can be used for scheduled holidays, personal days, incidental sick days or vacation days. Employees can cash in excess PTO twice a year.

Extended Illness Bank (EIB) – Associates begin earning time on the first day of employment. EIB time is used during periods of serious illness/injury by an employee or an immediate family member.

Disability Insurance – Associates can select from Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability policies, providing 60 percent replacement income for illness or injury.

Retirement Savings Program – FutureShare Retirement Savings Program includes  matching funds for pre-tax income that associates elect to have withheld.

Group Term Life Insurance – Basic coverage is provided to full-time employees at no charge. Associates can purchase additional term life coverage on themselves, their spouses or their children.

Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance – Additional policies are available to associates or their covered dependents.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) – Associates can set up Flexible Spending Accounts using pre-tax dollars for Dependent Care or for Healthcare.

Tuition Reimbursement – Up to $3,500 per year for approved courses.

Continuing Education Classes – Trinity offers an active clinical education service, providing free or low-cost BLS, ACLS and continuing clinical and professional development opportunities throughout the year.

Employee Assistance Program – Free to employees. Provides referral and counseling services for mental health, substance abuse, legal, financial and other life issues.

Trinity Fitness Center – Conveniently located adjacent to the hospital campus. Employees can join at discounted membership rates. There’s also a lovely FREE fitness trail on the wooded acreage in front of the hospital.

Child Day Care Discount – Through an arrangement with La Petite Academy (located next to the hospital), Trinity associates get a discounted rate for child day care services.

Gift Shop & Cafeteria Discounts

Free Covered Parking – In one of our gated parking complexes.

I CARE Rewards – Awarded by patients, physicians or other associates for extraordinary service, these rewards are redeemable in the hospital cafeteria or gift shop.

Bright Ideas Program – Rewards associates who share suggestions for improving our hospital services.

Nursing Leadership Group (NLG) and Ancillary Services Leadership Group (ASLG) – Provide meaningful opportunities for associates to establish workplace practices and relationships designed to enhance patient physician and employee satisfaction.

Preferred Vendor Discounts – Through various vendor arrangements, Trinity associates can take advantage on goods and services ranging from cell phones to computers to oil changes.

Birthday Lunch Celebrations – Each month, associates celebrating birthdays are invited to a luncheon celebration with a member of the administrative team.

Employee Benevolence Fund – Voluntarily funded by employees, the Benevolence Fund provides cash assistance in instances of unexpected financial crisis.

Immunizations – Associates are encouraged to take advantage of free flu shots and Hepatitis vaccinations, offered periodically through the year.

Meals To Go – As a convenience to associates, the Trinity Cafeteria prepares a variety of delicious and nutritious take-home meals that can be ordered at discounted prices, and picked up on the way home from work.

On-Site Services – including Credit Union, Optician, Deli and Pharmacy – providing convenient access to all Trinity associates, patients and visitors.
