Short Stay Unit

Short Stay at Trinity Medical Center is a 16-bed unit designed for patients having elective surgery or procedures.  Short Stay patients are on the unit approximately 24 hours or less.  The unit provides routine post-operative or post-procedural care and education regarding care after discharge.  We take care of adult, geriatric, adolescent and pediatric patients.

Short Stay is open from 6:30 am on Monday through 3:00 pm on Saturday. The unit is closed on Sunday.  Patients are admitted  to Short Stay on Monday through Friday in the afternoon if their discharge or transfer time will occur before 3:00pm on Saturday.
