Education

Trinity Medical Center Department of Education's mission is to promote continuous quality improvement by developing employee competency through orientation, staff development, and continuing education.  The Education Department is located on the second floor of the School of Nursing Building directly across from the hospital.  We provide a variety of classes for our employees throughout the year.  These classes are posted on the Education Bulletin Board which is located in the hallway across from the cafeteria on first floor of the main hospital.  Many of our classes are also available for those that are not employees of Trinity.  The bulletin board also has flyers posted for other classes in the Birmingham area.  Trinity's Education Department is an approved provider of continuing education for nurses by the Alabama Board of Nursing. We have the NetLearning Computer Program at our facility which allows employees to register for classes, enroll in computer based learning modules, and print their individual transcript of courses they have taken.Our employees also have access to the Advanced Learning Center provided through the Corporate CHS office where more computer based learning modules are available.
