Early Morning Admissions (EMA)

The Early Morning Admissions (EMA) Unit is a 13 bed unit designed to provide pre-invasive procedure or pre-surgery care for patients arriving the day of procedure or surgery.  The unit streamlines the processes in order to decrease wait time for the patient and their loved ones.  EMA services pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients for frequent procedures such as coronary arteriograms, cerebral arteriograms, general surgeries and invasive gastrointestinal procedures.
